About Us

Brust Funeral Home, formerly Banks and Brust Funeral Home, was established in Sullivan, Indiana in 1995. The original owners were Mr.Jerry Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Brust. Jerry Banks was a funeral director and had worked for a firm for over 40 years before negotiating to join forces with Terry Brust, a third generation funeral director to start their own funeral home. This elegant but comfortable facility is located at 400 N. Court St. in Sullivan, Indiana.

In November, 2005 due to illness Banks retired and sold his portion of the corporation to co-owners Terry and Rebecca Brust.

We have met and made many new friends, while serving people who have entrusted the care of their loved ones to us for generations. Helping people deal with a tragedy in their lives, personalizing the service to best suit the personality of the deceased, while comforting the grieving is the goal we have set for ourselves.
