Abbie M. Faught

Abbie M. Faught, 89, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away at 10:15 AM Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Breckenridge Nursing Home.

She was born in Sullivan, Indiana January 18, 1927 the daughter of Amos Faught and Eva Grace Sonner Faught.

Abbie graduated from Sullivan High School class of 1944 and she was a retired office manager for Prudential Insurance Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sullivan for over 78 years, American Legion Auxiliary, Garden club, former Sunday school teacher and past president of the Sullivan BPW. She enjoyed having an herb garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Sonner Faught (JoAnn) of Sullivan, sister, Rachel Faught of Sullivan, two nieces; Michelle Faught of Spring, Texas and Margot Faught of New York, New York and a special cousin Marge (Joe Ed) Cox of Sullivan.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Ron Riggs officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Sullivan First Baptist Church 611 N Wolfenburger Street Sullivan, Indiana 47882.
