Albert Ransom Hamilton

Albert Ransom Hamilton, 82, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born on December 24, 1932 in Sullivan County, Indiana the son of Samuel and Ann (Alumbaugh) Hamilton. Albert graduated from high school and worked for the GTE Telephone Company for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Wayne Bond Jr., sisters Grace Kinnett and Helen Rich, brothers Samuel Hamilton Jr., Harry Hamilton and Donald Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Barbara Hamilton whom he married on December 16, 1950, son Randy (Kim) Hamilton of Sullivan, Indiana, two daughters; Kimberly Hamilton of Sullivan, Indiana and Deborah K. Bond of Oaktown, Indiana, two granddaughters; Stacy Hamilton and Halee (Justin) Sluder, two great-grandchildren; Ava Hamilton and Gavin Hamilton and two brothers Gene Hamilton of Bedford, Indiana and Frank (Carolyn) of Sullivan, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2015.
