Ann (Shepler) Cox

January 23, 1935 ~ May 19, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Ann Cox, 82, of Graysville, IN went to be with the Lord Friday, May 19, 2017, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

            She was born in New Lebanon, IN January 23, 1935, the daughter of Fred Shepler and Anna Ridge Shepler.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also five brothers: Fred, Lester, Paul, Jim, John Shepler and one sister, Freda Hayhurst.

              Ann was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan and 4-H Leader of Turman Township Lads and Lassies for several years. She faithfully served the Southwest Sullivan School Corporation for 34 years as an Instructional Aide and Librarian. She enjoyed cooking for Church Missionary Units, canning, gardening, sewing, quilting and reading books.

            She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Survivors include her husband of nearly 62 years, Billie Lee Cox, whom she married on May 30, 1955, three sons: Greg Cox (Joyce), Tony Cox (April), and Troy Cox (Kelley), one daughter, Tanna Jo Cox Weszely all of Graysville, IN, one sister, Dorothy Helen “Duck” Sparks of Sullivan, IN, 10 grandchildren: Shawn, Jessica, Eric, Tyler, Cora Jo, Brekiesha, Brooks, Justin, Dena and Jed, and 14 great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the First Christian Church in Sullivan with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until services Tuesday at the First Christian Church.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
