Barbara J (Strickler) Bolinger

Barbara J. Bolinger, 72, of Shelburn, IN passed away at12:35 A.M. at her residence Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

            She was born in Galion, Ohio, February 15. 1944 the daughter of Walter A. Strickler Jr. and Mary Belle Slane Strickler.

            Barbara was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church for over 40 years, she was also a Sunday school teacher, and youth group leader.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Gene Bolinger in 2010.

            Survivors include three daughters Connie Bolinger of Franklin, Ohio, Bonnie Greene (Brad) of Shelburn, IN, and Melinda McAnally (Mark) of Farmersburg, IN a brother, Robert W. Strickler of Riverbank, CA, two grandchildren; Marybeth and Neal Greene, five grandchildren through extended families, Brentney, Matthew, and Grace Fulford, Logan and Jeremiah McDonald.

            Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Saturday September 24, 2016 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Shelburn, IN with Pastor Jeff Blansett officiating.  Interment will be in the Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN. Visitation will be at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church from 11:00AM until services Saturday.

            In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Gideon Bibles.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
