Barbara Ruth (Tittle) Seneff Kester

Barbara Ruth Seneff Kester, 89, of Vincennes, Indiana formerly of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Fox Ridge Manor.

She was born on September 26, 1928 in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of Julia (Tittle) Ellis. She retired from First Bank and Trust then worked part time as First Farmers State Bank. She served as treasurer for Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery for many years. She was a member of Farmersburg United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star 188 and Shelburn American Legion.

Besides a great love for her family, her joys were the U.M.Y.F. she counseled for many years and lay speaking.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ivan Lex Seneff whom passed away June 6, 1987, second husband, Warren Kester whom passed away April 19, 2002, son, Ivan Lex Seneff, Jr., two sisters; Martha Sue Ellis and Leota Ellis, brother, John Ellis and foster son, James Hunter.

Survivors include her son, Daniel R. (Sharon) Seneff, grandchildren; Neil (Tanya) Seneff and Lex Seneff, six great-grandchildren; Emma, Dominic, Andrew, Claire, Ethan and Ella, brother, Donald (Carol) Ellis, five step-grandchildren; Kellen Kester, Kylee Kester, Kaleb Kester, Kendrick Kester and Conrad Weaver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Farmersburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, Indiana. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
