Clarence Alvin Abbott Jr

Clarence Alvin Abbott Jr. 64, of Carlisle, IN passed away at 1:27 AM Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his residence.

He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, August 13, 1952 the son of Clarence Abbott and Faustine Burke Abbott.

Clarence was an Army Veteran, and a retired Coal Miner from Black Panther Coal Mine.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lydia Cooper Abbott whom he married on June, 28, 1980, two sons; Clarence Abbott III (Andrea) of Sullivan, IN, Michael Fraker of Carlisle, IN, one daughter, Tina Baker (Cory) of Carlisle, IN, one brother, Leroy Abbott (Brenda) of West Virginia, eight grandchildren; Gage, Zane Abbott, Luke, Alex Baker, Michael, Blake Fraker, and Nicholas, Carter Pearison.

Funeral services will be at 7:00PM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until services Thursday.
