Darrell W. McCammon

Darrell W. McCammon, 79, of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana.

He was born on February 25, 1937 in Sullivan County, Indiana the son of Lester and Doris (Diess) McCammon. Darrell was a lifelong farmer. He attended the Methodist Church in Freelandville, Indiana.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Sharon Case, Shirley Case and Karen Sue McCammon and son-in-law Jeff Yochum.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years Judith (Bement) McCammon whom he married on May 16, 1959, son Randall (Kim) McCammon of Carlisle, Indiana, two daughters; Linda Yochum of Vincennes, Indiana and Melissa (Daren) Dunford of Shelburn, Indiana, brothers Gerald (Rosie) McCammon of Carlisle, Indiana and Darren (Marilyn) McCammon of Merom, Indiana, five grandchildren; Megan Lotz, Lauren Woodsmall, Jared Dunford, Amanda Ramirez and Trent McCammon.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Buford Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Shepherds Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
