DeLorez Ann (Asbury) Boston

DeLorez Ann Boston, 81, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Dee was born on March 25, 1934 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Arthur P. “AP” and Dorothy (West) Asbury. DeLorez graduated from Wiley High School in 1951. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana State University and went on to teach at Southwest School Corporation for nearly 40 years. In addition to education, Dee was also a prominent figure in the family auction business. She was a member of the Sullivan First Baptist Church and Chi Omega Sorority. Dee enjoyed reading, gardening, and antiquing. She also loved her dogs.

DeLorez is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Arthur Asbury and Don West.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Bob Boston, three children; Terri (Richard) Sater, Jeff (Amy) Boston and Clay Boston all of Sullivan, four grandchildren; Jessica Sater, Victoria Sater (fiancé Charles Reed), Madison Boston, and Aidan Boston, and one great-grandchild, Hudson Leo Reed.

A private graveside service will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Rev. John Moyer officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
