Doris Irene (Horton) Wildman

Doris Irene Wildman, 93, of Carlisle, IN passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown IN.

She was born in Terre Haute, IN June 11, 1923 the daughter of Floyd Horton and Irene Evinger Horton.

Doris was a member of the United Methodist Church in Carlisle, IN and was once employed at Trimble Insurance Co. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bernard Horton, Norman Horton and a sister Phyllis Giodona and a grandson, Scott Trimble.

Survivors include a son, Alan Wildman (Tracy) of Sullivan, IN, two daughters Ruth Ann Trimble and Sue LeDune both of Carlisle, IN, a sister, Shirley Wilson of Oaktown, IN, seven grandchildren; Cherie Bennett (Tony), Wendy Natalie (Rob), Reva Bourgasser (Jeff), Jennifer Wayman (Brett), Sandy Bottoms (John), Alan Wildman (Tanya) and Rose Obert (Trey), ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Wednesday. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Carlisle.
