Elaine L. (Loudermilk) Falconbury

Elaine L. Loudermilk Falconbury, 96, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on October 8, 1920 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Jack Loudermilk Sr. and Hazel (Whorton) Loudermilk. Elaine was an owner and operator of the Sullivan IGA and later the Sullivan Red & White. She was a member of the Sullivan Presbyterian Church and PBW where she was a past president.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, husband,  Edward Falconbury who passed away on December 8, 1972, two sons; Bob and Wayne Falconbury, daughter-in-law, Phyllis Falconbury, brother, Jack Loudermilk Jr., sisters; Lorain Goodman and Dorothy Hawkins, one grandson Richard Falconbury and one great-granddaughter, Christina Falconbury Ballingall.

Survivors include grandchildren; Bob Falconbury, Timothy Falconbury, Brenda Landis, Tony Falconbury and Joe Falconbury, daughter-in-law, Ledona Falconbury, several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home.
