Eleanor Bernice (Wilson) Marshall

Eleanor Bernice “Bea” Marshall, 82, of Sullivan, Indiana was called home on November 21, 2015. She was born in La Junta, Colorado, December 17, 1932 the daughter of James and Rosella Copple Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband Donald Lee Marshall, whom she married on June 30 1951. She was also preceded in death by a daughter; Peggy Marshall, 7 brothers; Marshall D., William, Warren H., Robert L., Jerry E., and Raymond J Wilson, 3 sisters; Marie Haines, Floy Wilson and Norma J. Wilson.

Bea worked as a telephone operator and a Beauty operator at Bea’s Beauty Shop in Farmersburg, Indiana.  She was also a member of the First Christian Church, the Eastern Star, the Sullivan American Legion, and the VFW of Sullivan, as well as the Sullivan County Garden Club.

            Survivors include a son; Donald Marshall (Sandra) of Blackhawk, IN, a daughter; Patricia Chowning (Alan) of Graysville, IN, her brother; Paul R. Wilson of Oregon, five grandchildren; LeQuita, Nicole, Jeremy, Zachary, Nicholas, and six great grandchildren.

            The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial service will be held at the Fairbanks Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
