I met Freida when I started working at Mary Sherman Hospital in 1987! She would be working in the ER and when I was expecting with my daughter I experienced severe morning sickness through the whole day. I would go towards the ER with the cafeteria right outside of the ER and as soon as I would get close enough to smell food I would be sick and take off to the ER and Freida would put her arm around me, assist me and smile. Just this last trip for her into the hospital, I went to see her and she said, "Well honey, how old is your baby now!" We had a good visit, remembered some stories of Mary Sherman Hospital and I prayed with her before she smiled back with a thank you and I love you too! May she rest in peace.
