George W Lang

George W. Lang, 93, of Sullivan, IN passed away at his residence November 11, 2016.

            He was born in Sullivan Co., IN January 28, 1923 the son of James Frank Lang and Mary Johnson Lang.

            George was a member of the Farmersburg Church of Christ, Hymera Masonic Lodge #588 and retired from Pfizer after 36 years.

            He loved family, friends, camping, fishing and lots of hugs.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also his first wife Wanda June Waldroup Lang, three brothers; Bernard Lang, Orval Lang and Ed Lang, three grandchildren; Jason Davis, Carol Davis Nieten, and Steven Davis.

            Survivors include his wife of 65 years Esther Hildenbrand Lang whom he married on July 15, 1950, one son, Dean Lang (Cindy) of Niceville, FL, four daughters; Bonnie Bradford of Wadesville, IN, Connie Childress of St. Petersburg, FL, Georgia Davis (Steve) of Terre Haute, IN, Pam Hendrix (Carl) of Leesburg, FL, 11 Grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Friday, November 18, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN with Pastor Mitch Hoesman officiating. Interment will follow in the K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday with a Masonic service at 7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
