Haroletta "Detta" Jean Morris

Haroletta “Detta” Jean Morris, 69, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on June 4, 1947 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Harold and Jean (Bradbury) Morris. Detta worked at FW Means for 29 years in Terre Haute. She also attended Spectrum Industries in Terre Haute for a few years before she transferred to Four Rivers in Sullivan for ten years, she considered the staff and her friends to be her second family. Detta attended Sullivan Christian Church. She loved doing crafts and Elvis Presley, she enjoyed singing and dancing to all his songs.

Detta is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Duane and Darrell Morris and one sister, Elaine Pruett.

Survivors include her brother, Ronald (Beulah) Morris of Shelburn, Indiana, two sisters; Diana (Harold) Boyd of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Sharon (Charles) Epperson of Anderson, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana
