Jack D. Maze

Jack D. Maze, 68, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on February 29, 1948 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Charlotte (Mason) and James “Buck” Collins. Jack graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree and a degree from Mt. Vernon Bible College. He was a retired computer specialist and he pastored for 12 years in Rhode Island and Florida. Jack was a caption and pilot in the United State Marines. He was a member of the Mensa Society.   

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Bailiegh Shae Orman.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna Abel Maze, three sons; Shawn Maze, Jason Maze and Seth Maze, two step-sons; Anthony Brian “Stump” Orman and Micheal Shannon “Bones” Orman, three brothers; William Maze, Alton Maze and Eugene Maze, three sisters; Sandy Kaufman, Elizabeth Graham and Linda Snyder, eleven grandchildren;  Derrick Orman, Chase Orman, Cole Orman, Clay Orman, JayCee Corbin, Alex Pack, MaKyra Maze, Sessna Maze, Chloe Maze, Colin Maze and Kellen Maze and three great-grandchildren; Mia Pack, Bella Pack and Austin Pack. Jack is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place with a private service held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
