Joseph D. LaComb

Joseph D. LaComb, 77, of Hymera, IN passed away at 8:05PM Friday, March 4, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Esconaba, Michigan the son of Lawrence LaComb and Edurdge LaChapelle LaComb.

Joseph was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #298 in Hymera, the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, and Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, also wife Sue Ann Borders LaComb, and daughter, Samantha Neal LaComb. Joe was one of 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Kirk LaComb of Hymera, IN, Kevin LaComb (fiancé Montana Smith) of Hymera, IN, nine grandchildren Alanna Neal LaComb, Tasha Robbins, Brianna Newton, Brittany Shutte, Cody LaComb, Sierra LaComb, McKenzie Cole Lainee Cole and Jayden Cole, six great grandchildren; Aubree, and Eleanor Shutte, Harmony , and Addison Parker, Colton Neal LaComb, and Evelyn Hutcherson.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Father Ken Herr officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred, Indiana with a Military graveside service by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera Legion Posts and Sullivan county VFW Post.
