Karl Edwin Beard

Karl E. Beard, 74, of Merom, IN passed away at 11:55 PM Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan.

            He was born in Frankfort, IN January 28, 1942, the son of Paul R. Beard and Elizabeth Baker Beard.

            Karl was an Army Veteran and retired from Sullivan Co. Highway Dept.

He was preceded in death by his parents, also a sister, Ladonna Unger.

            Survivors include three brothers; Rolland Beard (Kathy) of Clinton, IN, Ralph Beard (Cathy) of Sullivan, IN and Raymond Beard (Mona Brown) of Sullivan, IN., a brother in-law Clifford Unger of Sullivan, IN.

            There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Merom Community Building.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Merom Improvements Association.
