Margaret Rose (Walls) Zellars

Margaret Rose Zellars, 74, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born on December 30, 1941 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Perry and Maude (Stites) Walls. Margaret graduated from Sullivan High School and worked as a nurse’s aide for several years. She married Richard Lee Zellars on June 21, 1960 and she was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Sullivan, Indiana.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years Richard Lee Zellars Sr. who passed on January 9, 2015, three brothers; Charles Walls, James Walls, Perry Walls Sr. and sister, Betty Rickets.

Survivors include three sons; Richard Lee Zellars Jr. (Donna) of Terre Haute, IN, Timothy Duane Zellars of Sullivan, IN, and Randy Lee Zellars of Sullivan, IN, nine grandchildren; Richard III, Mark, Michelle, Jennifer, Kristin, Savana, Bradley, Courtney and Ashton and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Trent Price. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
