Myrtle Maxine (Burnett) Moore

Myrtle Maxine Moore, 84, of Sullivan, Indiana left this earth to go to her Heavenly home at 12:18 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on May 9, 1932 in Sullivan County, Indiana, the daughter of Garland Burnett and Ethel (Hayden) Burnett. Maxine was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville, Indiana. She was a former beautician and a lifelong homemaker.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Dallas Moore, one son, Billy Joe Moore, one daughter, Betty Lou Moore Walters, brother, Garland Burnett Jr. and two sisters: Ernestine Akers and Sylvia Henderson.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Roy Moore of Sullivan, Indiana, one daughter, Bonny Sue Moore Scales (Dennis) of Sullivan, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Joy Moore of Sullivan, Indiana, son-in-law, Ronald Walters of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, sister, Barbara Bush of Sullivan, Indiana, sister-in-law, Rosemary Burnett of Shelburn, Indiana, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 21, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Jerry Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
