Steven L. Barden

Steven L Barden died May 5, 2016, at 9:06 AM at Union Hospital – Clinton. Steve was born October 16, 1959 in Sullivan to Lloyd W and Ardeth Bragdon Barden.

Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Brenda Sue Barden and a niece, Dru Lyndell Morrison.

Survivors include a daughter, Lori Barden, a son, Nathan Barden, a grandson, Austin Shott and a granddaughter, Sophie Shott. Also surviving are three sisters, Linda (Larry) Hayes, Cinda (Frank) Long, and Glenda (Terry) Morrison, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Steve was a drummer since his teenage years, playing with many local bands. Drumming was as important to him as his family.  He will be missed.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Merom Cemetery in Merom, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
