Thomas Boles

Thomas Boles, 87, of Hutsonville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

He was born on March 17, 1930 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Charles and Fern Boles. Thomas was an US Army Veteran and an electronic technician for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Hutsonville American Legion Post #742 and the Hutsonville First Baptist Church.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Dillie Plew Boles, one son, Todd Boles and twelve siblings.

Survivors include three children; Jana Abrams of Salem, Illinois, Thomas Michael (Nancy) Boles of Shelburn, Indiana and Kevin (Jo) Boles of Hutsonville, Illinois, daughter-in-law, Laurie Boles of Chester, Illinois, twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor David Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana with a Military graveside service by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera Legion Posts and Sullivan county VFW Post. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home.
