Thomas "Tommy" Martin Wernz

Thomas Martin Wernz, 57, died suddenly at his home in Patoka, Indiana, on January 3, 2017.

He was born in Sullivan, Indiana on September 18, 1959. His parents are Thomas W. and Sandra Anderson Wernz. Thomas was a 1977 graduate of Owen Valley High School, attended ISU and graduated from IVTC. He was a longtime employee of Toyota.

Tommy is survived by his parents, son, Rudy Wernz (Kailey) of Oaktown, granddaughter, Kazlyn Wernz of Oaktown, sister Julia Bayley (Calvin) of Anderson, niece Leslie Wooten (Cody) of Cincinnati, Ohio, uncle, Ben Wernz of Terre Haute, five cousins; Terry, David, Greg, Beth and Karla, and his fiancée, Renee Reed of Princeton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 9, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Wayne Unger officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Church.
