Virginia (Howes) Wright

Virginia Wright, 98, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

She was born on August 26, 1917 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Adrain J Howes and Mattie Halberstadt Howes. Virginia graduated from Sullivan High School and worked in retail for several years.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry Otis Wright who passed away April 18, 1997, one grandson Michael Wright, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons; Carl E. Wright (Jonilee) of Hymera, Indiana and Robert W. Wright of Shelburn, Indiana, three daughters; Connie S. Coyle (Charles) of Hymera, Indiana, Mary L. Chastain of Shelburn, Indiana and Loretta Hawkins (Von) of Shelburn, Indiana, eight grandchildren; Nancy Woodard (John), Stephen Hawkins, Charles Brodie Jr (Robin), Brian Brodie (Beverly), Charlene Coyle, Danny Coyle, Ted Wright and Gina Wright Park, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Charles Brodie Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Brust Funeral Home.
