Billy "Bill" Blaine Mason

Billy “Bill” Blaine Mason, 60, of Merom, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Merom, Indiana.

He was born on January 21, 1957 in Mount Clemens, Michigan the son of Burnice Leon Mason and Ramona Helena Banes Deporto. Bill was boilmaker for union local 374 and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilmakers. He loved to sing, enjoyed karaoke and was a great pool shooter.

Bill is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Ramona Helena Deporto, step-father, Jimmy Deporto, companion, Esther Arnett, son, John Paul Schwartz, two daughters; Michelle Mason and Linda Ann Mason, brother, Phillip Ray Schwartz and two sisters; Monna Lenora Lopez and Karen Jones.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 26, 2017 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Eddie Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Merom Cemetery in Merom, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Crossroads Community Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
