Calvin LeRoy Barden

Calvin LeRoy Barden, 64, of Sullivan, IN passed away at 1:15pm Saturday April 8, 2017 at IU Simon Cancer Center Indianapolis, IN.

He was born in Sullivan, IN January 7, 1953 the son of LeRoy “T- Bone” Barden and Betty Wilson Barden. He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother-in-law Melvin Lucas, and niece Keyla Rilenge Wilke.

Calvin was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan. He was also the leader of a motorcycle group: Calvin’s Clowns.

Survivors include his father LeRoy “ T-Bone” Barden of Sullivan, IN wife, Julia Eble Barden of Sullivan, IN, two daughters; Emily Mize (David) of Paxton, IN, Carrie Depue (Clinton) of Auburn, IN; two sisters: Sue Wells (Dave) of Mt Vernon IN and Connie Lucas of Sullivan, IN; six grandchildren: Baby Depue, Jakaylee Smith, Jake Mize, Bayhlie Mize, Dani Mize and Sammie Mize.

Additional survivors include Mother and Father-In-Law: Bob and Sue Eble, sister/brother-in-laws: Lucy (William) Monroe and son Boe, Roman (Debra) Eble, Sara (Noman) Hayhurst, Lisa (Kevin) Hallett, and Ed (Melissa) Eble, Penny Mason, and countless nieces, nephews, friends, and “adopted” family.

A Catholic service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, IN 11:00am, Saturday April 15, 2017 with Father Jeff Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
