Dana L. (Nichols) Eslinger

Dana L. Eslinger, 79, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on October 20, 1938 in Marshall, Illinois the daughter of Dean C. Nichols and Doreen (Angel) Nichols. Dana was a retried deputy auditor for Sullivan County court house. She was a member of the Sullivan First United Methodist Church, Sullivan Eastern Star, Sullivan VFW Auxiliary Post 2459, Sullivan American Legion Auxiliary Post 139 and Sullivan County Democrat Club. She farmed and raised watermelons.   

Dana is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Joseph Eslinger Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Lil (Paul) Brunson of Owensboro, Kentucky, two sons; Joe (Tina) Eslinger Jr. of Graysville, Indiana and Dean R. (Heather) Eslinger of Louisburg, Kansas, five grandchildren; Evan, Ellie, Elijah, Trace and Leola, great-grandchildren; Hoytt, Hiram and Maylynn and sister, Carole Dreher of New Goshen, Indiana.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at IOOF Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana with Rev. Erich Blevins officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
