Dorothy Louise (Pirtle) Templeton

Dorothy Louise Templeton, 92, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

She was born on March 8, 1926 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Walstine and Macy (Carrico) Pirtle. Dorothy was baptized into Christ by Rev. John Lyttle at the First Christian Church in Sullivan, Indiana. She was a lifelong homemaker.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Andrew Jack Templeton, brothers; Max, Lloyd, Rex, Dale, infant Frances and infant Robert Pirtle, sister, Daisy Dozier and granddaughter, Jessi Loudermilk.

Survivors include two sons; Jack (Gail) Templeton and Dan (Karen) Templeton all of Sullivan, Indiana, daughter, Debbie Loudermilk of Sullivan, Indiana, grandchildren; Alisa, Robert, Jayson, Andrew and Eric and great-grandchildren; Siobhanin, Emery, Chase, Carter, Reed, Carson, Camden and Pippa.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
