Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Lambeth, 92, of Carlisle, Indiana took her last earthly breath on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at her home.
She was born on August 29, 1926 in Merom, Indiana the daughter of Harold Arnett and Ester Trout Arnett. Betty was a lifelong homemaker and farmers wife. She was a member of Rose Chapel Methodist Church, Sullivan American Legion Auxiliary #139, Home Ec Club, Elected Precinct Committee Women Advisory Board and the Sullivan County Women’s Democrat Auxiliary.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donnis “Speed” W. Lambeth who passed away in 2009, two brothers; Raymond Arnett and Harold Junior Arnett, sister, Mae Taylor and great-granddaughter; Angela Kiel.
She was blessed with two daughters; Patti (the late Bill) Poole of Indianapolis, Indiana and Donna Kellams of Sullivan, Indiana, sister-in-law, Betty Jane Arnett of Merom Station, Indiana, six grandchildren; Tami (Mike) Kiel, Todd (Laura) Poole, Kyra (Jeff) Mann, Kela Gilham, Kory (Kayla) Kellams and Kahn (Wendy) Kellams, nineteen great-grandchildren and twelve great great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Merom Cemetery in Merom, Indiana with Pastor Dave Lisman officiating, all friends and family are welcome to attend. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Rose Chapel Methodist Church at 990 W Co Rd 500 S in Sullivan, Indiana 47882.
