Georgia Lynn (Wheeler) Southwood

Georgia Lynn Southwood, 70, of Sullivan, IN passed away at 4:15 AM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Breckenridge Health and Rehab Center

            She was born in Clinton, IN July 10, 1947 the daughter of Russell Wheeler and Edna Brockmier Wheeler.

            Lynn was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked at IU Med Center, and in Sullivan Co., and Florida.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also six brothers, Robert, Ernie, Jack, Don, Gerald and Bill Wheeler, four sisters, Geraldine and Louse Wheeler, Jona Spark and Nancy Uselman,

            Survivors include her husband of 45 years Patrick Southwood whom she married on August 19, 1972, two daughters, Cherlyn McKinley (Dean) and Penny Shorter (Jeff Dudley) all of Sullivan, IN, four grandchildren Kale Fricklin (Makayla Snyder), Blake Shorter (Darrian Baker), Allyn Kern (Luke), Alannah Wolfe (Ben), five great grandchildren, Leilyn Kern, Dreighton Kern, Kyler Wolfe, Memphis Wolfe, and Paisley Shorter, and several nieces and nephews.

            There will be no services, she has chosen cremation. There will be a celebration of Life at a later date.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
