James Leo Southwood

James Leo Southwood Jr., 60, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on March 9, 1958 in Linton, Indiana the son of James Leo Southwood Sr. and Vivian M. (Shipley) Southwood. James was a member of the Wabash Valley Musician Hall of Fame. He was a lifelong musician, loved music and it always made him happy.  

James is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Vivian M. Southwood, three sons; Jerald Southwood of Sullivan, Indiana, Joshua Southwood of Sullivan, Indiana and Levi Jamison (Cassy) Southwood of Clarksville, Tennessee, two brothers; Robin (Diane) Southwood of Georgia and Shane (Amy) Southwood of Indianapolis, Indiana and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 13, 2018 at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana with Pastor David Bright officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
