Jeffery S. Wamsley

Jeffery S. Wamsley, 59, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born on September 20, 1960 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Albert and Garnett Eslinger Wamsley. Jeff retired from INDOT after working for 32 years and was the former owner of the Kat a Korner Diner. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #139, Legion Riders and VFW Auxiliary. He attended Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Lee Wamsley.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bonita Unger Wamsley of 38 years whom he married on November 21, 1980, daughter, Jade Katinas (Chris) of Bloomington, Indiana, son, Jacob Wamsley (Brittany) of Shelburn, Indiana three brothers; Freddie Wamsley (Susan) of Sullivan, Indiana, Ronnie Wamsley (Myra) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mike Wamsley of Fredericksburg, Virginia, sister, Susan Rahn (Ron) of Savannah, Georgia and father-in-law, Clifford Unger (Linda) of Sullivan, Indiana. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be at 7:00PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Eddie Hammond officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will take place at a later date in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
