Jerry Donald Bolinger

Pastor Jerry Donald Bolinger, 81, passed away July 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family following a two week bout with Leukemia.

He was born in Clay Co., Indiana February 14, 1936 the son of Isaac Bolinger and Thelma Stoops Bolinger.

            He was preceded in death by his parents also a daughter, Gwendolyn Jane Bolinger, a granddaughter, Angela Marie Cano and a son-in-law Harold Beard.

Jerry was a pastor at the Sullivan Full Gospel Church for 25 years, he was An Army Veteran, and worked his lifetime in Home Improvement and Renovation Industry. He pursued the study of Homeopathic Medicine and Reflexology. He had a real passion for reading, fishing, and hunting. He loved meeting people and learning about their life. His greatest passion was giving Glory to God as he is doing in Eternity.

            Survivors include his wife, Wilma Cochran, daughters, Marlena Cano (Terry) of Poplar, CA, Trudy Jensen (Mark) of Clovis CA, Candis Oswalt (Jerry) of South Bend, IN, Hope Beard of Terre Haute, IN, Missy Rehmel (Kevin) of Lewis, IN, Patty House (Vincent) of Jasonville, IN, two sisters, June Wilkins of Jasonville, IN, Gail Wasnidge (Jerry) of Jasonville, IN 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday July 8, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in the K of P Cemetery with Military graveside rites by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera Legion Posts and the Sullivan VFW Post.. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Friday.
