Lillis Irene (Flynn) Orr

Lillis Irene Orr, 91 formerly of Sullivan, Indiana passed away Friday December 7, 2018 at Signature Health Care in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born in Hymera, Indiana on February 21, 1927 the daughter of Nelson A. Flynn and Cecelia Sluder Flynn.

Lillis was a foster mother of 67 children in 11 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, John F. Orr, three sons. Lynn Orr, Robert Orr and Jeff Orr, a brother, Bill Flynn, sister Mary Alice Combs and daughter-in-law, Doris Orr.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Joseph Crawford (Jeanne) of Brazil, Indiana, Mike Orr of Columbus, Indiana and Patrick Orr (Marie) of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, daughter, Alice Orr of Shelburn, Indiana, foster son, Wayne Hanson, brother, James Flynn of California, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two daughters-in-law; Rose Covington and Betty Bell Orr.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until services Friday.
