Richard Hall Obituary

Richard Allen Hall, 85, of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

He was born on February 2, 1934 in Pimento, Indiana the son of Dick Hall and Walleen Johnston Hall. Richard was a veteran of US Navy. He was a mill wright and worked in the Carpenters Union for several years. He was a member of the Pimento United Methodist Church, past President and member of Wabash Valley Western Horseman Association, National Champion Flag Racer; Horseman’s Hall of Fame recipient and past leader of the Horse and Pony Division in the Vigo County 4 H.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lynetta Hall Meier.

Survivors include his loving wife Carol Denehie Hall, two daughters; Rhoda Hall Carnahan (Ross) of Vincennes, Indiana and Jackie Chapman of Sullivan, Indiana, two brothers; Joe Hall (Pam) of Terre Haute, Indiana and Steve Hall (Elaine) of Pimento, Indiana, six grandchildren; Travis Woodard (April), Tyler Woodard, Sydney Chapman, Chandra Atkinson, Whitney Spatz and Callen Spatz and three great-grandchildren; Bella Woodard, Taylor Woodard and Ashton Woodard.

According to Richards wishes there will not be any services. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
