Roma Hayes Obituary

Roma K. Hampton Hayes, 82, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on October 22, 1935 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of John and Vencil (Neal) Hampton. Roma retired from Mary Sherman Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Roma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Mervin R. Hayes and two sisters; Melba Jean Hampton and Betty Rosalie Love.

Survivors include son, John (Kathy) Hayes of Sullivan, Indiana, daughter, JoBeth (Ed) Snyder of St. Joe, Indiana, three grandchildren; Jami (Charlie) Trimble, Alicia Hayes and Jason Jackson, two great-grandchildren and two sisters; Ruth (Dayton) Keesee of Oklahoma and Ronda (Bill) Crump of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

A burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
