Suzanne (Hagood) Hensley

Suzanne Hensley, 73, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus.

She was born on October 11, 1945 in Hillsborough County, Florida the daughter of Clarence Hagood and Lilly Mae Taylor Hagood. Suzanne retired from Allomatic after working there for 20 years. She was a welder by trade, she worked for 12 years in Virginia Beach area where she was one of two women to become a certified welder. Suzanne married Charles Arthur Hensley on May 14, 1982. She was a member of the Shelburn Women’s Legion Auxiliary.

Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Helen Thomas-Hyde.

Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Charles Arthur Hensley, three daughters; Johnnie Martinez of Shelburn, Indiana, Susie Gilley of Terre Haute, Indiana and Jessica Moyer of Colorado. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
