Virginia L. (Ballard) Scully

Virginia L. Scully, 89, of Sullivan, IN passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at Avon Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Sullivan Co., IN July 14, 1927 the daughter of Coleman Ballard and Mary Ann Sluder Ballard.

Virginia was a secretary at Sullivan Jr. High School and a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eddie F. Scully Jr. Oct., 9, 2006, daughter, Melissa Bontrager, and brother, Charles Wayne Ballard.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Scully of San Diego, CA, three grandchildren Travis Bontrager and (Kim), Nick Bontrager and Lindsey Harmon,  great granddaughter, Madison Ann Bontrager, a son in-law Robert Bontrager of Colo. Spgs., Co.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Tuesday.
