Alma Elaine Reynolds of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. She was a lifetime resident of Sullivan County born on October 13, 1924, to the late Maverick & Fasti Hancock.

Elaine married Milton Reynolds, May 29, 1946. In 1943, she graduated Sullivan High School. Elaine held membership in the American Legion Post #129 Auxiliary and the VFW auxiliary. She worked as a bookkeeper employed by A & P Grocery for 29 years. She also worked alongside of her husband in the family business Reynolds Construction. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Milt preceded her in death on January 13, 1985. Her brother Edward Eldoras Hancock also preceded her in death.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Janice Reynold Slifer, Evansville, her nephew, David Hancock (Kris) Sullivan, great nephew Luke Hancock (Lydia), great great niece Naomi all of Indianapolis. She is also survived by Bill Crooks (Brooke) and their children, whom she considered family.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, November 25, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home.
