Barbara Ridge, 88, of New Lebanon, IN passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Waters in Sullivan, IN.

She was born in West York, IL on September 1, 1935, the daughter of Everett Gradis Irvin and Marie Hanley Irvin.

Barbara was a member and piano player at the New Lebanon Methodist Church, she was also a Court Reporter for the Sullivan Circuit Court.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gale Jerome Ridge in 2020, also a brother, Lloyd “Scotty” Irvin, and a sister, Alice Letterman.

Survivors include a son, Randall Jerome Ridge (Melissa) of New Lebanon, IN, three daughters, Jana Marie Hobbs (Steve) of Sullivan, IN, Polly Jo Wible (Mike) of  Stony Point NC, Amy Jill Bell (Mike) of Sullivan, IN, 10 grandchildren, Nicole Melvin (Brent), Jared Ridge (Lara), Jay Hobbs (Megan), Jacki Lewis (Clint), Tara Schaefer (Mike), Tessa Wible, Tori Goodman (Ronnie), Kaden Wible, Shelby Marx (Cameron) and Grant Bell, 18 great grandchildren, a brother in-law, Gary Ridge of New Lebanon, IN and a sister in-law, Jeannie Ridge of Sullivan, IN.

Funeral services will be at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Lisman officiating. Burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery New Lebanon, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2023.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery or the New Lebanon Community Building.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
