Betty Rose Esra Thomson passed away February 13, 2023. She was born to John and Della Esra on December 28, 1930. She married Jack Thomson on September 15th, 1948. Betty was proceeded in death by her husband of 30 years, Jack, their son Todd, her parents John and Della, sisters Annabelle and Ruth, brothers George, Joe and Jim.

She taught remedial reading at Farmersburg Elementary for many years and later worked at Pfizer’s for 14 years. 

Betty is survived by her children David (Carla), Sue Ann (Rod), her seven Grandchildren Shane (Carrie), Brooke (Danny), Lindsay (Chris), Tara, Rachel (Joel), Sarah (Tyler), Josh (Bellami), her favorite brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Shirley Thomson, nine great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
