Carol Sue Bouchie, 80, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

She was born on June 15, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of Ellis Taylor and Cleo Benefiel Taylor. Carol graduated from Oaktown High School in 1956 and married William Bouchie on October 18, 1963. She worked at Walmart for several years and prior to that she worked at Indiana State University. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, Indiana.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Stuart Ivers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, William Bouchie, son, Aaron Bouchie (Julee) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Jeanette Bouchie of Terre Haute, Indiana, sister, Wanda Ivers of Carlisle, Indiana and step-grandson, Trey Hodapp.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Father Jeff Read officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home.
