Charles V. Herrin

Charles V. Herrin, 82, of Fairbanks, IN passed away Tuesday June 30, 2026, at Countryside Meadows in Avon, IN.

He was born in Somerset, KY February 17,1944 the son of Elston and Lela Agnes (Vanhook) Herrin.

Charles was a AirForce Veteran, and a Barber instructor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife Francine York Herrin and two brothers; Joe Herrin, and Richmond Herrin.

Survivors include two daughters; Melissa Fishel (Dean)of Monrovia, IN and Angela Hufhes of Danville, IN, two stepsons, Adam Cornelison of Steelville, IN and Mathew Cornelison of Coatesville, IN, three brothers; Larry Herrin (Terri) of Boling Greene, KY, Dale Herrin (Onvetta) of Stilesville, IN, Carroll Herrin of Mooresville, IN, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

There will be no services, cremation has been chosen.
