Dana M. Alsman, 58, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at her home.

She was born on October 14, 1965, in Centralia, Illinois the daughter of Donald “Don” K. McClain and Sue Jane Crews McClain. Dana graduated from high school and earned her associate degree in nursing from Vincennes University. She was a Registered Nurse and most recently worked at Regional Hospital but previously worked at Union Hospital and Sullivan County Community Hospital. Dana was a member of the Carlisle Shaker Prairie Christian Church. She adored her whole family especially her grandkids.

Dana is preceded in death by her father, Don McClain.

Survivors include her mother, Sue Jane McClain of Sullivan, Indiana, loving husband of 34 years whom she married on November 4, 1987, Dwayne Alsman, son, Colin D. Alsman of Evansville, Indiana, two daughters: Caitlin (Tyler) Kuppler and Chloe Alsman all of Sullivan, Indiana, brother, Kent William (Stefanie) McClain of Burkesville, Kentucky and two grandchildren, Barrett and Owen Kuppler.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Minister Steve Sandefur officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home and prior to the service on Friday, March 1, 2024.
