Danny Joe Forbes, Sr., 53 of Lyford, Indiana passed away January 12, 2021 in a house fire.

He was born on October 11, 1967, to Joe and Francie Forbes.

Danny graduated from North Central High School in Farmersburg, Indiana and Lincoln Tech Automotive College in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his mother, Francie (Kirton) Smith, of Sullivan, Indiana, his grandmother, Kathleen Kirton of Sullivan, Indiana, children; Danny Forbes, Jr. of Terre Haute, Indiana and Laura Forbes (Markie Waltrip) of Terre Haute, Indiana, granddaughters; Kuren Forbes of Casey, Illinois and Miley Waltrip of Terre Haute, Indiana, former wife, Loretta Forbes of Terre Haute, Indiana, aunt, Jane Myers of Sullivan, Indiana, uncle, Duane Kirton of Jasonville, Indiana, and great uncle, John Rankin of Sullivan, Indiana.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Joe Forbes, son, Coty Michael, grandparents, John Kirton, Sr., Helen and Garland Forbes, uncles John Kirton Jr., and Dennis Forbes.

There were no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
