Darlene Rose (Perius) Wright, age 82, of Lewis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Born on November 1, 1942, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Darlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life was a testament to compassion, faith, and selfless service. She will always be remembered for her loving heart, her gentle spirit, and her willingness to help those in need.

Throughout her life, Darlene dedicated herself to caring for others. She worked with Hospice of the Wabash Valley and Preferred Home Healthcare, where she provided comfort and dignity to countless individuals and families. Her work was more than a career—it was a calling.

Darlene was a member of Sullivan First Assembly of God Church, where her deep love for the Lord guided her every step. Her faith was her foundation, and her light shone brightly in the lives of those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eileen Perius; four brothers, Dale, Wally, Duane, and Gene; and her beloved son, Cameron Hall.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Ron Wright; her loving sons, Curtis (Linda Lou) Hall and Carter (Amy) Hall, and stepchildren, Timothy (Cary) Wright, Karie (David) Brammer, James (Cami) Wright, Mary (Kevin) Ballard, along with countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and joy.

A celebration of Darlene’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Darlene’s lifelong commitment to serving others.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she shared so freely.
