David "Dave" E. Taladay

David "Dave" E. Taladay, 68, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Springhill Village.

He was born January 17, 1950 to Harry and Ruby Ruth Hancock Taladay in Sullivan Indiana. Dave graduated from Sullivan High School in 1968. He married Diana Burris on February 22, 1969. He was a local owner and operator of Fun-N-Sun Pools for 38 years.

Dave liked to figure out solutions to problems and doing things for other people. He also liked to travel and find good places to eat. He enjoyed muscle cars and he liked watching nature shows.  He always liked comedy and enjoyed cutting up in a sarcastic way with people.  Those who knew Dave expected that from him.  Dave loved gardening and spending time with his beloved family.  

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, April Yvette Taladay who passed in 2000 and son, Michael Paul Taladay who passed in 1984.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Diana of 49 years, two sons John  “JD” and Daniel "Danny" and his wife Allison Taladay and four grandchildren; Garrison, Peyton, Landon and Vivienne Taladay.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Evangelist Tom Cohoon of Evansville, Indiana officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home.
