Dewayne "Clyde" Meadows

Dewayne “Clyde” Meadows, 57, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born on July 7, 1964 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Charles Meadows and Maybelle Snider Meadows. Clyde graduated Sullivan High School class of 1983 and worked at North American Latex in the maintenance department. He married Angela Horner on July 25, 1987. Clyde was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 139 and Sullivan County Pullers where he was a past president for several years.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 34 years, Angela Meadows, mother, Maybelle Meadows of Sullivan, Indiana, step-mother, Judy Meadows of Virginia Beach, Virginia, two sons; Chad Meadows (Emily) of Terre Haute, Indiana and Cody Meadows (Kaylee) of Shelburn, Indiana, four grandchildren; Jackson, Hunter, Briana and Wyatt, three brothers;  David Meadows (Kay) of Shelburn, Indiana, Daniel Meadows of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and Dondi Meadows (Teresa) of Carrollton, Georgia, sister, Jennifer Eidson (John) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and step-sister, Julianne Simonic. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Erich Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
