Diana Lynn Williams, 78, of Sullivan, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026.
Born on June 27, 1947, Diana was the daughter of Norm and Jean Mitchell. She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School.
On October 26, 1968, Diana married John T. Williams, the love of her life. Together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage before John's passing in 2022. Their home was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories created with family and friends. Diana shares her passing day, June 7th with her beloved husband John, who passed away on June 7th, 2022.
She is survived by her son, Scott Williams of Bloomington, Illinois; daughters, Melissa Carreno (Ismael) of Chicago, Illinois, Laura Barker (Daryn) of Borden, Indiana, and stepdaughter Kathy McCrory (Steve) of McDaniels, Kentucky and her brother Ron Mitchell (Jan) of Lafayette, Indiana. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amia Carreno, Megan McCrory, Ashlyn Salyer (Matt), and Daniel Barker (Hannah); her great-grandson, Aaron McCrory and Shepard Salyer and twin boys on the way; and numerous extended family members and friends.
In addition to her husband, John T. Williams, Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Norm and Jean Mitchell and sister, Susan (Mitchell) Smith.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Diana's life at Brust Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18th at 10 am. A luncheon will follow at La Pachanga (981 N. Section
