Donna D. (Harris) Hale Robbins, 82, of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born on August 15, 1942, in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of Perry Harris and Zenobia Thornton Harris. Donna worked at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility as a correctional officer for several years and prior to that she was a nurse’s aide at Greene County General Hospital. She was a member of Shaker Prairie Christian Church and the Eastern Star.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Darrell Hale, second husband, Jack Robbins, daughter, Debbie Hale, son, Douglas Hale, grandsons; Derrick Wright and Jeremy Sullivan.

Survivors include her son, David (Olivia) Hale of Belton, Texas, daughter, Deena (Daniel) Wright of Sullivan, Indiana, bonus son, Paul (Lauren) Robbins of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, bonus daughters; Crystal (Steve) Palmer of Marion, Indiana, Nina (Andrew) Cribbs of Greenwood, Indiana and Lana (Brent) Powell of Vincennes, Indiana, sister, Lana (Jim) Hamilton of Sullivan, Indiana, brother, Doug (Hasalyn) Harris of Bluffton, Indiana, grandchildren; Morgan Hale, David Hale Jr., Sophia Hale, Dathan Wright, Serena Sullivan and Dakota Sullivan, twelve bonus grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and eight bonus great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Steve Sandefur officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
